Increasingly, successful governmental affairs strategies turn on the action of federal and state agencies. There is often more advocacy involved in the drafting of regulations than there was in the writing of the statute that required the regulations. Given recent mandates to pursue privatization and creative public-private sector partnerships, PACE has increasingly been working with a number of federal agencies to ensure that high standards of successful business practices are adopted by these agencies.
