The PACE Companies LLP, a cutting edge, bipartisan Washington advocacy firm, is pleased to announce that Kevin Eastman has joined its team as Partner.
Eastman brings over a decade of experience in federal and state policy to the PACE team and most recently served as Legislative Director for Congressman Doug LaMalfa, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Indian, Insular, and Alaskan Native Affairs, and a member of the Natural Resources, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Agriculture Committees. He led the Chairman’s efforts to strengthen tribal sovereignty, played a key role in negotiating the first bipartisan, bicameral California water supply provisions passed in a generation, and brokered an agreement between public and private utilities to accelerate hydroelectric development.
“All of us at PACE could not be more thrilled to have Kevin join our team. Over the years, we have been so impressed by his hard work, creative and innovative solutions to complex policy challenges and honest collaboration on both sides of the aisle. These are the qualities that any firm hopes to attract. We are very fortunate to have a consummate professional such as Kevin working with us and on behalf of our clients,” said PACE Managing Partner, Jim Wise.
Prior to working in the U.S. House of Representatives, Eastman served in senior roles in both houses of the California legislature. While still an undergraduate at California State University, Sacramento, Kevin began working in then-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s administration doing legislative analysis work.
“I’m excited to join the bipartisan team at PACE, which has earned its reputation for integrity and effectiveness. I look forward to focusing my efforts and energy on the diverse issues and opportunities that the PACE clients present to Congress and the Administration,” said Eastman.
