Mr. Theissen is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Anthony’s time at UCSB was shaped by his leadership roles in several first-year student initiatives, positions within the competitive UCSB Orientation Programs, and a depth of involvement in several other different areas of campus life. He was recognized by the heads of the university as having performed above and beyond the call of duty in service to the University, the student body, and the community as the recipient of the Senior Co-Curricular Excellence Award and the prestigious University Service Award.
Anthony comes to DC as a part of the UCDC program, seeking to gain relevant work experience within the DC political machine. Inspired by his time serving as the Minority Leader in his campus’ Congress Simulation, he hopes to establish a career on the Hill before ultimately pursuing his dream of becoming a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State.
As an intern at PACE, Anthony will get to experience first-hand what it means to work in the nation’s capital. We hope his experience here will be fruitful and rewarding – Welcome Anthony!
