Kabir, born in Bangladesh, moved to Norristown, Pennsylvania in 2001. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. While in College, Kabir studied government and political science and served as a Student Assistant for The Government Department at Franklin and Marshall.
Growing up, Kabir recognized the importance of government and politics and quickly became engaged. He was heavily involved in his campus community, taking part in leadership in student government, fraternity life, sexual assault awareness organizations, and registering students to vote.
He also brings campaign and political experience, serving as a former two time Harvard National Campaign Adviser at The Institute of Politics at Harvard University. Additionally, he has served as a Special Assistant to Dr. Terry Madonna, helping with the nationally recognized Franklin and Marshall Poll and as a Teaching Assistant to Lancaster County Judge, The Honorable David L. Ashworth. Upon graduation, Kabir was selected for the International Leadership Foundation Fellowship where he gained leadership and federal government experience. Furthermore, he has interned for both the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.
On his free time, Kabir enjoys watching Bollywood movies and Seinfeld re-runs. He also has an interest in trying new food and especially enjoys spicy meals. He eventually hopes to go to law school and work in politics and government.
