Lauren has developed strong connections with California policymakers and stakeholders in her five years in the nation’s capital. Her accomplishments on behalf of clients are the outcome of not only a deep knowledge base of state politics and issues, but a familiarity with California offices on Capitol Hill and relationships with advocates representing a broad spectrum of industries. As a result, Lauren has cultivated a coalition of California representatives to leverage the interests of the state with the Congressional delegation.
Lauren works on a diverse set of issue areas, advising clients in the development and implementation of legislative priorities and strategies. Her work with PACE clients has led to extensive proficiency in many policy areas, encompassing education, transportation and maritime issues, Native American Affairs, entitlement programs, veterans affairs, cybersecurity and privacy. Last year, Lauren was intimately involved in the successful effort to secure protections for Native American Women in the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization.
Lauren is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and has a master’s degree in Public Policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
